The Nürburgring motor racing circuit is located in north-west Germany and has a deserved reputation as being the ultimate test for drivers and cars alike.

The long circuit (Nordschleife) is seldom used these days for racing but instead serves as an intensive testing facility for manufacturers of road and race machinery.

Private individuals can drive their own road cars on the circuit at public days or exclusive track days. The Nürburgring's own website gives details of public open days.
